MNC Peduli Provides Reading Book Assistance to Reading Parks in South Bengkulu to Increase Demand for Reading

South Bengkulu - Hundreds of reading books aided by MNC Peduli were handed over to the village library in Pasar Pino Village, Pino Raya District, South Bengkulu Regency, Bengkulu. Distribution of book donations is also MNC's concern for the world of education in Indonesia.

The management of the Pino Village Library, said that with the help of books from MNC Peduli, this had increased the collection of reading books in the village library. "It is hoped that it will increase the interest of residents, both adults and children, to come to the library to increase their insight and knowledge," he said.

The donation of reading books was welcomed by residents and PAUD children in Pasar Pino Village as well as South Bengkulu youth leader, Tiara Agustini. He appreciated MNC for distributing aid in the form of useful reading books to educate the younger generation.

"With this program from MNC Caring, Pasar Pino Village feels helped to meet the need for reading books, for the village library, especially reading books for children," he said.

Head of Pasar Pino Village, Ivan Sawito, said that this village library was built in 2017 through village funds and was used as a learning facility for village residents. "Apart from being able to read and borrow books, residents can also learn to read and write in this library," he said.
