MNC Peduli Distributes Humanitarian Aid to Victims of the Mount Lewotobi Eruption in Konga Village, East Floresx
East Flores - MNC Peduli provided humanitarian assistance to refugees affected by the eruption of Mount Lewotobi in Konga Village, Titihena District.The assistance was handed over directly by the Head of CSR MNC Group Tengku Havid and Karolus Karni Lando, to Assistant One for East Flores, DRS. Badaruddin, at the Titihena District Head's office.
The assistance handed over was in the form of two tons of rice and 2000 liters of cooking oil. The delivery of aid was carried out in refugee tents, where the refugees immediately received the aid.
MNC Peduli took part in discussions with the refugees, provided support, and handed over aid to residents affected by the disaster.
Karolus Karni Lando, revealed that today he handed over aid from MNC Peduli to victims of the Mount Lewotobi eruption.
Assistance in the form of two tonnes of rice and two tonnes of cooking oil was handed over to Assistant One for East Flores and refugee representatives in the refugee camp.
Karni Lando hopes that this assistance can help the residents of East Flores who are affected by the disaster.
DRS. Badaruddin, as PLT Assistant One for East Flores, expressed his thanks to MNC Peduli and Hary Tanoesoedibjo for helping the residents of East Flores who were affected by the eruption of Mount Lewotobi.
He hopes that this assistance will be useful for disaster victims, and it is also hoped that the assistance will be put to good use.
One of the refugees, Bernadette from Dulipali Village, expressed her gratitude to MNC Peduli, Mr. Harry Tanoe, and the Perindo Party for assistance in the form of rice and cooking oil. He expressed his happiness for the assistance provided.
Until now, the status of Mount Lewotobi is still at level IV or Caution. The number of refugees continues to increase, reaching 6,228 people who have taken refuge in refugee camps, including in the neighboring district of Sikka.
Refugees still need help in dealing with the difficult situation caused by the eruption of Mount Lewotobi.
