Indonesian citizen, born in 1971, and currently resides in Jakarta. Agung Firman Sampurna obtained his Bachelor's Degree at the Faculty of Economics, Universitas Sriwijaya in 1996. He also obtained his Master's degree of Administration and Public Policy in 1998 from Universitas Indonesia and a Doctorate degree of Administration and Public Policy in 2011 from Universitas Indonesia. He was appointed as the President Commissioner & Independent Commissioner of the Company based on the resolutions of the Company’s Annual General Meeting of Shareholders held in Jakarta on July 28, 2022, as per Deed No.121 dated July 28, 2022, made before Aulia Taufani, S.H., Notary in Jakarta.

Currently, he also serves as the General Chairman of the Indonesian Badminton Association (PBSI), Vice Chairman of the Advisory Board of the Muslim Intellectual Society of Indonesia (ICMI), Vice Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Islamic Economic Community (MES), Presidium of the Alumni Association of State Universities (HIMPUNI) 2022, and Chairman of the Sriwijaya University Alumni Association (IKA Unsri). He is also an active member of the Chandler Session of Integrity and Corruption, Blavatnik School of Government, University of Oxford and a Lecturer at Universitas Indonesia since 2021. Thus far, he has paved himself a career path in the world of Indonesian bureaucracy for around 23 years, with his last position being as Chairman of the Audit Board (BPK) of the Republic of Indonesia.
