Jakarta – MNC Peduli is again distributing medical aids to those in need. This time assistance in the form of a wheelchair was given to Rosmiyati (75), an elderly person in North Gandaria Village.

The wheelchair was handed over directly by MNC Peduli General Treasurer Stien M. Schouten at Rosmiyati's residence on Thursday (21/9/2023).

Rosmiyati has experienced bone calcification since 2011, the result of this disease makes it difficult for her to carry out activities. It is no longer possible to even walk alone.

Rosmiyati, who currently has no means of livelihood, relies on her son who works as a caretaker for toddlers.

With all the economic limitations, so far Rosmiyati can only hope to be able to return to her activities with the help of a wheelchair.

Rosmiyati feels very grateful to receive wheelchair assistance from MNC Peduli.

"Thank you, MNC Peduli, because I really need this wheelchair, the value of which is infinite. I no longer need to walk in pain, just push it, it makes it easier to get to the hospital," said Rosmiyati while crying emotionally at her residence.

With this assistance, it is hoped that Rosmiyati will be able to ease her daily activities, especially for bone calcification treatment which is still routinely carried out for her recovery.
