Bogor – Literacy learning becomes an exciting and enjoyable experience at SDN Pangarakan 01 Ciburuy, Cigombong, Bogor. MNC Peduli and MNC Land brought a series of fun-filled activities, combining education with creativity and hands-on exploration. Besides donating hundreds of books, they engaged students in interactive and lively learning experiences.

Children’s literacy covers many essential aspects beyond reading, writing, and arithmetic. Through this initiative, MNC Peduli and MNC Land encouraged the development of reading and writing literacy, digital literacy, and scientific literacy, offering activities that sparked enthusiasm and curiosity among young learners.

The energy at SDN Pangarakan 01 was vibrant from the start of the day. Students eagerly participated in various activities, including coloring competitions, storytelling sessions, and hands-on experiments with electrical circuits that produced light and sound.

Beyond just learning, the activities provided an opportunity for students to explore and express themselves in a fun and stimulating environment. The coloring competition allowed them to enhance their fine motor skills and artistic creativity, while the storytelling session transported them into imaginative worlds, expanding their vocabulary and comprehension. Meanwhile, the electrical experiment gave them a hands-on understanding of scientific concepts in an engaging and interactive way.

SDN Pangarakan 01’s principal, Ayi Kurniati, appreciated the initiative, emphasizing how valuable the experience was for the students.

"Today, MNC Land and MNC Peduli visited our school. We organized a coloring competition for first to third graders, hands-on electrical experiments, and a book donation ceremony to enrich our school library," Ayi said on Wednesday (February 12, 2025).

The excitement was evident among the students. One of them, Widianti Rukmana, shared her enthusiasm about the event.

"We got to build an electrical circuit and received books to read. It was so much fun! Thank you, MNC Peduli! This makes me even more excited to learn," she said.

The initiative also received appreciation from the Head of Ciburuy Village’s Community Affairs, Muhammad Rahmat, who highlighted the positive impact on local students.

"On behalf of the local government, we sincerely thank MNC Peduli and MNC Land. This is a great initiative, and we hope it continues. It would be wonderful to expand it further, perhaps by introducing agricultural education for children in the future," he said.

He also emphasized the importance of enriching school libraries to foster students’ reading habits.

"This is a fantastic program. Hopefully, it doesn’t stop here. Thank you for providing hundreds of books for our school library," he concluded.
