Jakarta – Stunting prevention can be done in various ways, one of which is by providing nutritious food in the first 1000 days of life since pregnancy.

For this reason, MNC Peduli and PT Berdikari are again collaborating in distributing animal protein to Posyandu participants.

Hundreds of animal protein were provided at Posyandu Melati 4A and 4B RW 08 Duri Pulo Village on Tuesday (23/5/2023). Animal protein contains amino acids, minerals and vitamins which are important in supporting children's growth.

One of the recipients, Silva (22), expressed his gratitude to MNC Peduli and PT Berdikari for the assistance with nutritious food. "Thank you to MNC Peduli and PT Berdikari. Thank you for getting chickens so that our children's nutrition will increase," said Silva.

This resident of RT 10/08 admitted that he was happy to receive this assistance. He will consume this aid to fulfill the nutrition of breast milk for the baby who is only nine months old.

"Later, I'll cook the chicken, because I'm giving breast milk to my child," she said.

In line with this, Kumala Sari (42), a resident of Jalan Setiakawan, said that the provision of animal protein was greatly helped.

"It is very helpful for people who don't have enough to increase their children's nutritional intake," she said.

Kumala also hopes that this assistance can continue to reduce stunting rates in Indonesia. "Hopefully MNC Peduli and PT Berdikari will be more advanced and better in the future," said this mother of three
