Jakarta - Muhammad Abyan (6), was born with a cleft lip and palate. With these conditions, Abyan, who is the third child of the couple Jawahir and Diah Haryanty, experiences several obstacles in his daily activities, such as difficulty eating and socializing.

Abyan has participated in the Indonesian Smile program, namely MNC Peduli's free cleft surgery program in 2017 and 2019. However, because after surgery the shape of his lips still needed to be perfected, Abyan had to undergo lip revision surgery (labio).

With the limited financial condition of Jawahir who works as a factory worker at the port and also delays due to the COVID-19 pandemic that hit, Abyan had to be patient in taking part in the free operation organized by MNC Peduli.

After a long wait, Abyan can now take part in a free operation organized by MNC Peduli together with RSAU dr. Esnawan Antariksa on Wednesday (5/4/2023).

Jawahir, Abyan's parents are very grateful to MNC Peduli and the hospital for lending a hand to help with the surgery for their beloved son's cleft lip. As a parent of a patient, he feels that social activities like this are very helpful.

MNC Peduli and RSAU dr. Esnawan Antariksa still accepts free cleft surgery for underprivileged people.
