Yogyakarta - Having problems during the pandemic, this did not stop the Guyub Rukun Community Reading Park in Yogyakarta from providing enthusiasm for literacy to local residents.

Having been established since 2015, this reading park seems to be able to continue its activities even though it only focused on book lending and tutoring activities.

Limited funds and human resources to manage the reading park have not deterred Triyanto as the Founder of TBM Guyub Rukun from continuing to develop this reading park.

Seeing Triyanto's enthusiasm in managing the reading park, MNC Peduli supported it by providing hundreds of children's reading books on Friday (1/9/23).

Triyanto said that the MNC Peduli book assistance received could be useful for local residents.

"With the help of books from MNC Peduli, the local community can use them and add to the various collections of our reading park," said Triyanto.

Furthermore, Triyanto said that this assistance really supports various programs to increase the literacy interest of local children.

"It is very useful to be utilized in collaboration in our reading park literacy programs such as reading corners, literacy angkringan, and partnerships with schools in terms of borrowing books," he said.

MNC Peduli's consistency in efforts to increase the literacy of Indonesian children in the #GenerasiSerdasAnak Bangsa program has been running for a long time and has covered several cities and districts in Indonesia, both on the islands of Java, Sumatra and East Nusa Tenggara.
