Towards a Diabetes Free Indonesia, MNC Peduli and PT Biotek Farmasi Indonesia Hold Free Seminars and Examinations

Jakarta – Reporting from the site p2pm.kemkes.go.id, diabetes sufferers in Indonesia could reach 30 million people by 2030 if lifestyles including eating a lot and smoking are not reduced.

In fact, the number of diabetes sufferers continues to increase and currently reaches 422 million people in the world - four times more than 30 years ago, according to the World Health Organization (WHO).

One of the efforts to reduce diabetes rates, MNC Peduli together with PT Biotek Farmasi Indonesia held a "Diabetes Free Indonesia" activity in the form of a seminar and also free blood sugar checks at the iNews Tower, Kebon SIrih on Monday (8/5/23).

In the health seminar, Dr. Rianti Maharani who is a general practitioner at the Samasta Clinic Integrative Medical Center and also the Corporate Secretary of PT Biotek Farmasi Indonesia

In this series of activities, free blood sugar checks will take place from 8 – 19 May 2023 (excluding holidays). The goal is that with early examination it can be detected immediately and can be treated properly.

General Practitioner at Samasta Clinic Integrative Medical Center and also Corporate Secretary of PT Biotek Farmasi Indonesia, dr. Rianti Maharani said that this event took the form of a seminar and blood sugar checks starting with MNC employees.

In this series of activities, free blood sugar checks will take place from 8 – 19 May 2023 on the 3rd floor of iNews Tower and the MNC Tower.

The goal is that with early examination it can be detected immediately and can be treated properly. "The collaboration between Indonesian Pharmaceutical Biotech and MNC Peduli is to help Indonesia be free from diabetes. Through seminars we can provide education about early detection," said Dr Rianti when met at the MNC tower, Monday (8/5/2023).
