MNC Peduli provided bags and school supplies for Anugrah Rizky (8), an elementary school student who lives in Petojo Utara, Central Jakarta, Tuesday (14/3/2023).

After his father died several years ago, this child of two brothers lives and goes to school relying on income from his mother Neneng (48) who works as a laundry worker.

"I usually take Rizky to school to help with ironing depending on the amount of ironing. If it's a lot, it's Rp. 75 thousand, if it's a little, it's Rp. 50 thousand," said Neneng, Tuesday (14/3/2023).

The monthly wage earned is only IDR 400 thousand per month. He continues to look for any job to cover the gap in meeting his daily needs.

"Sometimes people tell me to snore. Whatever I do, the important thing is that it is halal," he said.

Neneng expressed her gratitude to MNC Peduli for providing bags and school supplies for Rizky. He hopes that this assistance can motivate Rizky to continue studying and achieve his dream of becoming a police officer.

"Thank you MNC Peduli. We wish you success, prosperity and blessings and success everywhere," she said.

Previously, Head of CSR MNC Group Tengku Havid said that this school supplies assistance was part of the MNC Cares #GenerasiCerdasAnakBangsa# program.

"We are trying to encourage children's education so that they can go to school properly. With this assistance, we hope to increase Rizky's enthusiasm for learning as the nation's next generation," he said.
