Cianjur – The Cianjur earthquake not only caused damage to infrastructure, but also claimed more than 600 lives. Not a few children also lost their parents as a result of the disaster that occurred in November 2022.

As a form of support and concern for the survival of a number of children affected by the earthquake in the education sector, MNC Peduli provided school equipment assistance to orphans affected by the earthquake disaster among students at SDN Jambudipa 1, Cianjur on Friday (3/2/2023).

"Thank you MNC Peduli for caring about us, especially the children of SDN Jambudipa 1, thank God the children here are happy," said Deputy Principal of SDN Jambudipa 1, Nia Kurniawati, Friday (3/2/2023).

They hope that this condition can recover soon. So that children in particular can return to studying comfortably as usual.

"Please pray, hopefully this condition will recover soon, feel sorry for the children, so they can study comfortably," he hoped.

Apart from that, MNC Peduli also provides trauma healing to children by inviting them to paint with gypsum media. It is hoped that this assistance and activities will encourage children to carry out their daily lives and also catch up on lessons that were stopped due to the earthquake.

MNC Peduli's support for children's education in Cianjur is part of the #GenerasiSerdasAnak Bangsa program carried out by MNC Peduli in an effort to improve the education of Indonesian children.
