MNC Peduli Provides Ramadan Aid to Two Mosques in Jakarta
Jakarta – MNC Peduli has once again extended its support during Ramadan by providing financial aid to two mosques within the MNC Group community: Masjid Bimantara at MNC Center, Kebon Sirih, Central Jakarta, and Masjid Raudhatul Jannah at MNC Studio, Kebon Jeruk, West Jakarta.
A total of Rp150 million was donated, with Rp100 million allocated to Masjid Bimantara and Rp50 million to Masjid Raudhatul Jannah. The donation was symbolically handed over by MNC Peduli Vice Chairman Syafril Nasution to representatives of both mosques during a ceremony held at Masjid Bimantara on Wednesday (5/3/2025).
“MNC Peduli is providing financial assistance to support fasting activities and mosque programs at MNC Center, Kebon Sirih, with Rp100 million, while the mosque in Kebon Jeruk will receive Rp50 million,” said Syafril at Masjid Bimantara.
He explained that the amount of aid was determined based on the number of worshippers at each mosque.
“The congregation at Kebon Sirih is significantly larger than the one at Kebon Jeruk,” he noted.
The funds will be used to support various Ramadan activities, including religious lectures, qiyamul lail (night prayers), collective prayers and dhikr, the commemoration of Nuzulul Qur’an, itikaf (spiritual retreat), and providing iftar meals for worshippers.
Masjid Bimantara’s Chairman, Ustaz Syafei, and Masjid Raudhatul Jannah’s Vice President, Muhammad Munir, received the donation and expressed their gratitude for MNC Group’s continued support.
“We sincerely appreciate MNC Peduli and the entire MNC Group. Every year, we receive donations that significantly benefit our programs, not only during Ramadan but throughout the year,” said Syafei.
Munir echoed his appreciation.
“We are truly grateful for MNC Peduli’s support during Ramadan 1446 H. This donation is extremely valuable and will greatly help sustain our various programs, including religious studies, social initiatives, and Quran memorization activities,” he said.
Throughout Ramadan, Masjid Bimantara and Masjid Raudhatul Jannah host daily programs, including lectures, qiyamul lail, dhikr sessions, Nuzulul Qur’an commemorations, itikaf, and the distribution of iftar meals for worshippers.
Beyond Ramadan, MNC Peduli regularly provides aid on various occasions, including Eid al-Fitr and Eid al-Adha, as part of its ongoing commitment to supporting these mosques and the surrounding community.
“Our aid programs extend beyond Ramadan, Eid al-Fitr, or Eid al-Adha. We consistently carry out initiatives to support these mosques within the MNC Peduli community,” Syafril emphasized.
In addition to mosque donations, MNC Peduli also organizes various charity programs during Ramadan, including iftar gatherings for orphans and the underprivileged and food package distributions for those in need.
Through these initiatives, MNC Peduli aims to continue making a meaningful impact on the community while fostering a strong spirit of social responsibility.
