Bekasi - On the occasion of Eid al-Adha 1444 H, MNC Peduli together with the Indonesian Zakat Initiative held an iftar with orphans and poor people in Taruma Jaya, Bekasi Regency on (31/3/23).

During the breaking of the fast activity, children received entertainment from fairy tales, marawis performances as well as cults and group prayers. Apart from that, children also receive compensation and school equipment to support their daily lives.

Director of Zakat Education and Partnership at LAZNAS (IZI) Deddy Fenalosa said, IZI and MNC Peduli carried out activities to distribute gifts to poor orphans as well as breaking the fast together.

"Thank God, on this occasion we have provided approximately one hundred school aid packages along with 150 iftar packages," he said, Thursday (30/3/2023).

Head of CSR MNC Group Tengku Havid said that this collaboration with the Indonesian Zakat Initiative was not the first time. "Every year, we collaborate with IZI in Ramadan activities to share with those in need," said Havid.

"Hopefully this collaborative activity can give the spirit of Ramadan to the children who attended this afternoon," said Havid.
