JAKARTA — The Dining Room on Level 22 of Park Hyatt Jakarta was filled with warmth and laughter as children from Yayasan Al-Kahfi, Central Jakarta, gathered for a special iftar on Tuesday evening. Organized jointly by MNC Peduli and Park Hyatt Jakarta, the event aimed to bring joy and create lasting memories for the children during the holy month of Ramadan.

From the moment they arrived, the children’s faces lit up with excitement. The elegantly arranged tables, set with traditional Ramadan delicacies, created an atmosphere that felt both festive and welcoming. As the Maghrib call to prayer echoed through the room, a quiet anticipation gave way to broad smiles as the children broke their fast with the carefully prepared meal.

Jessica Tanoesoedibjo, Vice Chairwoman of MNC Peduli, emphasized the deeper significance of Ramadan, not only as a time of fasting but as an opportunity for reflection and giving.

"We hope that in this sacred month, we can all take a moment to reflect, purify our hearts, and, above all, ensure that everyone here leaves with full bellies and warm memories," she said.

Christian Wurm, General Manager of Park Hyatt Jakarta, spoke about Ramadan’s role in fostering unity and gratitude.
