Kebumen - As a commitment to helping people in need, MNC Peduli and PKU Muhammadiyah Gombong Hospital, Kebumen, Central Java are again providing free cataract and cleft surgery services for residents of Kembumen and surrounding areas, on Saturday 2 September 2023.

This time dozens of residents from Kebumen and Cilacap, Central Java had the opportunity to get free cleft surgery supported by Smile Train Indonesia and also free cataract surgery which was supported by the good heroes of MNC Peduli.
MNC Peduli's collaboration with PKU Muhammadiyah Gombong Hospital, which has been running for more than a decade, has helped more than 1,000 beneficiaries, including free operations for clefts, hernias and cataracts as well as other treatments.

"Residents who need free cataract surgery at PKU Muhammadiyah Gombong Hospital can register via telephone/whatsapp at PKU Muhammadiyah Gombong Hospital, Kebumen 0812-2676-951," said the Manager of Medical Services at PKU Muhammadiyah Gombong Hospital, Dr. Nur Hidayani.

Nur said, currently there are 21 patients related to cleft lip and palate surgery and 10 related to cataracts. It is hoped that through this activity the party can make the best contribution to health services, especially bringing smiles to the nation's children.
