MNC Peduli and Orphanage Home Distribute 100 Packages of Rice to Orphans, Dhuafa and Elderly in Fisherman's Village

Jakarta – Collaborating for kindness in the holy month of Ramadan, MNC Peduli and Rumah Yatim distributed 100 packages of rice to orphans, poor people and the elderly in the fishing village in Sembilangan Village, Hurip Jaya Village, Bekasi Regency.

Even though it is in Bekasi Regency, Kampung Sembilangan is an isolated area located on the north coast of Java, even though it is only two hours from Jakarta. Access to Sembilangan Village is quite challenging because it is reached by boat.

This assistance was very enthusiastically welcomed by local residents. Hundreds of rice packages were distributed directly by Rumah Yatim and MNC Peduli to each beneficiary on Tuesday (2/4/2024).

Vijay, one of the residents who received assistance, expressed his gratitude for the assistance received "Thank God, I say thank you to MNC Caring and the Orphanage for helping our residents, especially orphans and the needy, may you always be blessed," he explained.

Our hope for the residents of Angka Hamlet is that MNC Care will always be active in helping with programs in our village area.

Head of CSR MNC Group Tengku Havid expressed his appreciation to Rumah Yatim for the useful collaboration. "We are grateful to Rumah Yatim for collaborating with us to distribute aid to one of our assisted villages," said Tengku Havid.

Furthermore, Tengku Havid also hopes that this collaboration can continue. "We hope that this collaboration can continue and provide good benefits to the wider community," he said.

Agus Hermawan, Jabodetabek Area Manager, Rumah Yatim, also expressed his gratitude for this collaboration. "We would like to thank MNC care for the collaboration that has been carried out. Our big hope for the future is that there will be more and bigger collaborations so that they can have a big impact on social and humanitarian issues in the wider community," he said.
