Bekasi – Concerned about the fate of fishermen, MNC Peduli distributed basic food aid in the form of rice to fishermen in Bekasi Regency, West Java, Thursday (26/1/2023).

Paljaya Village, Tarumajaya District, Bekasi Regency, which was targeted for assistance from MNC Peduli, is one of the villages located on the coast.

Tengku Havid as Head of CSR MNC Group said that the living conditions of fishermen in Indonesia still require attention from many parties, because their income is uncertain. A little help for fishermen will certainly help them to meet their daily needs.

"MNC Peduli at the start of the new year is a good year, we are helping fishermen in the Tarumajaya area, in the form of basic necessities, we are also participating in fishermen's thanksgiving, hopefully we can help and give blessings to our fishermen," said Havid when interviewed, Thursday (26/ 1/2023).

This also received attention from MNC Peduli. The fishermen in Paljaya Village received food assistance. It is hoped that this assistance will help fishermen and their families.

It is known, continued Havid, that MNC Peduli is a forum for social activities from the MNC Group and all affiliated business units. In carrying out its vision and mission, #mncpeduli carries out social activities to help communities, especially the underprivileged and those affected by disasters.

"The three main pillars implemented are social, humanitarian and religious, including those related to education, the environment and infrastructure development," he explained.

Meanwhile, fisherman Nasir (58) expressed his gratitude to MNC Peduli for providing assistance to him.

"Thank you MNC Peduli for your assistance, hopefully it will be useful for our family and the fishermen's families here," he said
