Momentum of Ramadan, MNC Bank and MNC Peduli Hold Compensation Program for Orphans

Taking advantage of the sharing momentum in the month of Ramadhan, PT Bank MNC Internasional Tbk (BABP) or MNC Bank, a subsidiary of PT MNC Kapital Indonesia Tbk (BCAP) which is under the auspices of the MNC Group (BHIT) collaborates with MNC Peduli to hold a Corporate Social Responsibility program in the form of compensation and breaking the fast together at the Rasulullah SAW Orphan Foundation in Jakarta, (11/4).

MNC Bank Corporate Secretary, Heru Sulistiadhi said that the CSR program is a form of MNC Bank's concern for orphaned children in the form of providing basic food packages to fulfill their needs. "We are using the momentum of the month of Ramadan 1444 H to fulfill one of our obligations to help the local community. On this occasion, we also ask for prayers so that MNC Bank can continue to develop so that its potential to serve the community will be even greater."

Heru hopes that the donations provided can lighten their burden considering that these children are the nation's next generation and it is our collective responsibility to care for and educate them well.

Head of CSR MNC Group, Tengku Havid said that MNC Peduli's Ramadan activities with MNC Bank have been running since previous years. "This collaboration is routinely carried out during the month of Ramadan, we hope it can provide benefits and spread the spirit of Ramadan to children," said Tengku Havid.

Apart from holding a compensation program and breaking the fast together, in early April 2023 MNC Bank together with PT MNC Land Tbk and MNC Peduli also carried out CSR activities in the form of donations to the Bina Siwi Orphanage for People with Disabilities. The symbolic handover of CSR assistance was carried out in the Ballroom of the Next Hotel Yogyakarta.

The Bina Siwi orphanage, located in Bantul Regency, Yogyakarta, is one of the few orphanages that accommodates children with special needs, from babies to adults. The current condition of the Bina Siwi Orphanage is that it really needs help. Considering that so far there are still very few donors who regularly make donations to these orphanages, so the children in these orphanages end up taking the path of creating their own work, making their own crafts and then selling them to get or generate funds.
