Dozens of underprivileged residents in Sukabumi take part in free cataract surgery

Sukabumi – Dozens of residents in Sukabumi and surrounding areas looked enthusiastic about undergoing examinations after undergoing free cataract surgery organized by MNC Peduli and RSI Assyifa Sukabumi. During the examination, MNC Peduli Representative Rita Irawati Priatna was seen accompanying the patients.

On this occasion, Rita explained that the patients who came for examination had successfully undergone surgery some time ago.

"Currently at the Assyifa Islamic Hospital, Sukabumi City, we are carrying out cataract social service operations, actually on October 14, but currently post-operative control is being carried out for 22 patients from our brothers and sisters in Sukabumi," said Rita.

"They are very enthusiastic and very happy now to undergo post-healing. Hopefully in the future they will be able to carry out their activities well again," added Rita.

Rita further explained that the participants who took part in this free surgery program did not have BPJS. "Actually, it just so happens that our brothers and sisters who have health problems and don't have the BPJS program are really helped by this MNC Peduli program," he said.

For your information, MNC Peduli's collaboration with RSI Assyifa has provided free cataract surgery for 334 people, and hernia surgery for 150 people.
