Welcoming National Fairy Tale Day, MNC Peduli Hands Over Reading Book Assistance to the Kebon Sirih RPTRA
Jakarta – Fairy tales have various benefits for children's development. Through fairy tales, one of the benefits is as character education. Another benefit is that storytelling can train children's motor skills, and can be used as a way to educate and teach children, as well as train children's gestures or body movement needs. Storytelling is also a very complete form of literacy starting from writing, reading, speaking and listening.
Welcoming national fairy tale day, MNC Group through MNC Peduli distributed hundreds of reading books to the Kebon Sirih Child-Friendly Integrated Public Space (RPTRA) on Thursday (5/3/2024).
Apart from that, a number of children also took part in fairy tale activities held at this location. In this activity, each child also received reading books and writing books in an effort to increase the literacy of local children.
